MAC Online Shopping

So, last week I did another online shopping (gasp!). This time, I decided that I want to give a MAC online shopping a go. I made the purchase on 15th of February and only received the parcel on 23rd of February. Since last week was public holiday so I'll say not bad, MAC.

So, here's how the package look like

I really love the sleek, black packaging of the package. Feels like getting a fancy gift from me to myself.

Here's what I ordered

I decided to buy the new Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Laying Low as it looked more suitable for Asian skin tone compared to Painterly that I already own. However, this is actually a gift so I can’t really swatch it but I’m planning on getting it for myself later when I finished with my almost-dried-out Painterly (soon, very soon).

I only own one MAC eyeshadow in my collection; Amber Lights so, I feel that I need to expand my MAC collection and starts collecting it’s famous eyeshadows.

I decided to get two more eyeshadows from their Pro Palette Refill Pan. The reason why I decided to get them in refill pan is because I am too lazy to depot them myself. I felt that I will just break them if I decided to. Plus, the refill pans are also cheaper by RM15 compared to the normal eyeshadow. So, it’s a win-win situation.

The two colours that I decided to get were Woodwinked and Sumptuous Olive. The swatches are:

It is really hard at first to decide on which eyeshadows to buy as I feel way too overwhelmed by the choices that MAC offered. So, after countless Google searches I decided to settle with these two gorgeous eyeshadows.

Woodwinked is described as warm antique gold in the MAC website. It is a veluxe pearl finish. It is definitely a warm gold and looks almost champagne-ish on me. The colour is gorgeous on tanned skin and will look good as an allover lid colour. I can wear just woodwinked alone on my lids and will look as if I spend an hour getting ready. I am excited to wear this colour and try different combinations for this eyeshadow.

Sumptous Olive is described as veluxe pearl in the website. It is a veluxe pearl finish. This colour looks like a dual tone eyeshadow for me. It has gold and green reflects on it. Depending on the light. However, this colour can be tricky as it might look too normal as the green might not pop quite as strongly as I expected. The reason why this eyeshadow is interesting is because it has an olive green reflect on it so, hopefully the green reflect will show through when I decided to wear them.
I will definitely post the looks using these two eyeshadows.

So, am I regretting this buy? Definitely, no. I am planning on getting more MAC eyeshadows in the future so please feel free to suggest more.

Have a great day, everyone!
